PAI DISTRICT - PART 3 - SUN SET TOUR

After a quick bath and a short nap, we continue our journey for our first tour, which is, watching the sun set. A lot of tour agency available here, just need to survey for all and ask for the best offer. For us, we manage to find a package that include the sun set, take us to dinner, and drop by the Night Market for a cost of BHT300 for 3 person ( they even give us a car with a driver )

View in town during the evening - A lot of street cart offers lovely delicacies for your taste buds

Our travel agent - A muslim guy that can speak Malay ( which help us a lot, especially for special discount )

We take the car and ride through the hill heading towards Mae Yen Temple. A big statue was built here two years ago, making it visible to view from below ( even from the hotel we stay ).

View of the statue above ( Well, while waiting, surely you can do something to "kill" time, right ? )

People waiting for the right moment to capture the perfect shot

Well, have to say, the view is quite nice up here. Overlooking the whole scenery below. As the sun goes by, we head our way towards town for dinner.

Our driver - Mr Kitta ( once stayed in Malaysia for 5 years )

The food here is plenty, raging from Thai Food to Western ( well, coming to Thai, what better food to try then Thai Food, right ? )

As our belly is full, and chit-chatting for about two hours, we drive our way to the nearby Night Market ( which is quite close to our hotel ). The road is closed during the night, and only usable during day time. Many things are available here. Just walk around, surely you will find something that catches your attention.

To much of a good things can be found here. You might spending your time quite a while until you notice that the time flies by. Guess that's enough for tonight. We head back and rest for a while along the river (which is freaking cold...ggrrrrr...), updating ourselves and planning for tomorrow's plan.

Time is everything here. Every second counts. Better don't waste any of it .....
