PAI DISTRICT - PART 2

It took 3 hours of traveling time from Chiang Mai Bus Terminal to Pai, following a mountainous and vomit inducing ( and a bit dizzy ) road, if you are not use to it. Along the way you can see a lot of small houses and nice mountain views. Not many car heading this way, but sometimes, the traffic will be a bit slower due to some lorry crawling up ahead.

Ticket to Pai - BHT150 per person

Roughly one and a half hour of the trip, the driver will stop by at a resting point, where we can stop and refresh ourselves. Some can have coffee, eating fresh fruits ( strawberry is widely covered here ), or even, lunch.

Finally, we arrived. The town is a bit laid back type, where everything you see seems nice and peaceful. There is a lot of hotels, resthouse, and even dorm, available here. So, one should not be worry if there's no booking made before coming.

Our trip here took only 2 days. One day for tour, and another day for exploring. If you walk further towards behind, you will find a lot of room ( facing by the river ) where you can choose from. Depends on your budget, wide range covered here, starting from BHT400 to BHT900.

PAI NAI FUN - Hut Type - BHT400 per night

If you come here solo, I recommend you to take the hut. With a nice view of the river in front, and warm weather, this will be a good pick. But, coming with partner, there is a double room behind where you can stay.

Double Room - BHT500 per night

The Hut is just a room, where you have to shared the toilet outside. As for the Double, the toilet is inside. After a long journey, we decided to have a short rest, before we can continue with our next move ( travel with no energy, is also no fun right ? )
