SALANG SAYANG BEACH

Salang beach is beautiful, you can spend your whole day swimming and relaxing at the beach. There is a lot of shops available for some grocery shopping. Please make sure you wake up early in the morning, to find Tioman's "nasi lemak sambal ikan" for breakfast.... heavenly delicious.

NIGHT LIFE AT KAMPUNG SALANG

Like all island in the world, the night life is surely the opposite of the day time. Same goes here in Kampung Salang. Lots of cafe and restaurant available here for you to explore. Some even have a life band, if you wish to stay and entertain yourself during your dinner.

Maybe you can try yourself walking from one end (starting from Salang Hut) until the other end (Salang Sayang Resort), where you can see the beautiful scenery of night and wonder yourself for shops selling souvenir.

Or, just lay yourself beside the beach and feel the wind and the sound of ocean.

LUNCH AT KAMPUNG TEKEK

This is consider the heart of the island, where all the main infrastructure is. Locals will come here to do their daily business. Quite a nice developed site if you ask me.

If you take the tour pakej, the boatman will lead you here to have lunch. Giving you 2 hours to play around with, should give you enough time to wonder around the village by foot.

You can actually fly your way here. There is a small landing site for plane to land (suitable for small plane). The plane will be taking off from Subang Airport, located in Selangor, central state of Malaysia.

Nice place to drop by, especially if you searching for something to fill up your belly.

SNORKELING TIME

There are several types of island hoping / snorkeling tour provided here in this island. One of them are 4 Point Tour, where you will cover Coral Island, Malang Rock and Monkey Bay. All these points (if you are lucky enough), you might find yourself swimming with Turtles, and, also, Sharks.

Price starting from RM70, which only cover half the day, and up to RM100 if you take the whole day.

ARRIVAL AT KAMPUNG SALANG

After nearly 2 hours of boat ride, you will arrive at Pulau Tioman. As for me, I drop by at Kampung Salang. There a many villages here where you can spend your night with. But, above all, Kampung Salang is the most famous village among the others.

Reason being is that there are many chalet and hotels here. Prices as low as RM50 per night is available. In terms of food, there are a lot of variety to choose from.

If you are a serius divers, there are also tour guide and diving school available.

The view is Super, and the weather is Spectacular. Make you can't wait to change to your bathing suite and start rolling !
