PAI DISTRICT - PART 4 - HALF DAY TOUR

I've been wake up by my alarm, showing 5.00am in the morning ( yes, 5am in the morning, local time ). Head to the toilet, trying to take a morning bath. But the water is freaking cold ( straight to the bone ), so why bother, just wash my face and be done with it ( err...).

Short summary of my half day tour for today :

1. Sun Raise @ Yun Lai Viewpoint
2. Breakfast at Town
3. Long Neck Karen Hilltribe
4. Pai Tree House
5. Memorial Bridge
6. Pai Canyon
7. Strawberry Garden
8. Coffee In Love
9. Chinese Village
10. Mor Pang Waterfall

SUN RAISE @ YUN LAI VIEWPOINT

Well, it's not far from our hotel to this place. Roughly took 15 minutes to reach there. No traffic, the road was clear ( maybe because it is Sunday, so the morning activity didn't take much place ), and yes, the weather still cold. Make sure you bring your jacket along, or else, you'll regret it.

As we arrive, we have to make our way up the stairs to reach the viewpoint. Luckily it's just a few steps to climb.Once above, you'll find a nice old Chinese looking architecture on your right, and, a seating bench on your left. Thought we are the one that is first here, but, well, my guess is wrong. People already reach here earlier ( how early they come, I have no idea )

On your right side as you enter - Selling tea for your morning refreshment

People already waiting at the seating bench on the left

Tea anyone ? Worth the try - BHT20 per set of 1 pot and 3 cups

View of the sun rise ( roughly around 6am )

Waiting for the sun to rise will take some time. Here is where your jacket took place. The weather is so cold, hoping from the sun to give some heat, but I guess, that won't help. It still cold (grrrr...)

As the sun rise fully, you can start see the view of this magnificent place. Beautiful, and warming ( soothing to the eye I might say ). A lot of people busy taking their photos. Some capturing the rays of the sun. Other taking the view of the surrounding, and yes, do not forget, selfie.

If you are lucky, you might bump yourself with "Captain Jack Sparrow"

Panoramic view of this place

Entry fee is BHT20

You might be spending few hours here. As for us, one and a half hour is enough. We head back down to our driver, and head back to town to have breakfast ( yum...yum... )

BREAKFAST @ TOWN

Having a nice porridge and a cup of hot chocolate surely live out your day. All this cost around BHT170 for 3 person.

Won't be spending long here, 'couse we have to head back to hotel and pack our stuff. Straight away check-out as we need to catch our bus back to Chiang Mai later 2.00pm ...
