MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS AND CERAMICS

This museum stands across the road from the Jakarta History Museum on the opposite side of the Fatahillah Square from the Museum Wayang. Fine Art and Ceramic Museum presents collections of indonesian artist works (like some rare ceramics and porcelain) of art from the era of 1800 to the current era. Raden Saleh, Affandi Zaini, Sudjojono and Dullah, to name the few.

It occupies a building, named Fine Art Hall. Before it's occupied as a museum, the hall had been occupied by many organizations and instance from the time of the Dutch colonization to the after independence time.

Overall, if you have a busy schedule, you can probably skip the visit. If not, you should enjoy spending 1 or 2 hours in this museum.
