If you walking from Resort World Sentosa to the beach, you will walk pass thru this iconic structure. Is is call the Sentosa Merlion. A 37 metre-tall mythical creature to be precise. Legend has it that the Merlion would visit Sentosa Island every year to guard Singapore's well-being.
Coming thru here is the real journey. You will walk pass a beautiful garden, and path walkways that are nicely decorated. You can enter the Merlion structure from the back, and go up to its mouth and have a wonderful view of the island.
Behind the structure also lays a beautiful walkways that is decorated with mosaic. It is a long way slunting down where you can see the ocean view from a far.
It is worth the walk if you ask me, rather then taking the train. You got to explore more of the island by this way. Give it a try and enjoy !
