Once you have pass ( or other words, survived ) the 272 steps up into Batu Caves, you will find yourself inside a huge area surrounded by limestone. You will see Hindu shrines and statues.
View inside the cave is wonderful. Never wonder such a big space available here, which can accommodate thousands of people, especially during peak hour, like Thaipusam day.
When you reach the other side of the cave, you walk up a few more steps to an area lit by a skylight high above. ( Hmm... I guess, this must be what it feels like to be inside a volcano...)
