PAI DISTRICT - PART 7 - HALF DAY TOUR

LOVE STRAWBERRY @ PAI

We stop by at this cute Thai Style strawberry farm some way along the 1095 highway.
Here they have many strawberry themed decoration for kids ( and even grown ups ), suitable for photos.

You can try the strawberry soda, a nice alternative to coke.

The Entrance

Nice decor - Ideal for photos

Dried strawberry - Worth the try

This place is worth for a stop-over for having some refreshments and buying some souvenir. The view is beautiful too.

COFFEE IN LOVE

Pai is known for interesting sites like this place here, call Coffee in Love. Great coffee, and the view is lovely too. Even the cake is awesome. All selling at a very reasonable price. Lots of flowers in garden.

Have your photo taken next to various kind of objects and signs.

The place is very relaxing overlooking the green mountain and green field. It is more of the feeling while drinking the coffee that makes this place... err...hmm...well....( I could say ) SPECIAL.

The beautiful garden also added up the extra point to it.

PAI DISTRICT - PART 6 - HALF DAY TOUR

MEMORIAL BRIDGE

It was built in 1942 by the Japanese to transport weapons and provisions to Myanmar ( last time call Burma ) during World War II. It is located at kilometre marker 88 on highway 1095, Mae Malai-Pai Road

This bridge over Pai river has become one of many fascinating tourist attractions of Pai.

Pai River

They even have an old tricycle here for you to pose a shot (clik...clik...)

Adorable kids wearing traditional customs ( pay them a token for having their picture ya )

At the end of the bridge, you will find few shops and restaurant where you can chill for a while ( maybe having lunch or cup of tea )

Well, looks like we are done here. Lets head straight to our next stop ...

PAI CANYON

The canyon provides quite a nice view and also some interesting trails ( which can be a bit dodgy in places ). There is a small stall selling smoothies, and that's it.

Try not to come here during the hottest part of the day, as it is very lacking in shades.

The hot sun really make us thirsty. Can't wait to go back down and buy a big bottle of water.

Our next stop, Strawberry Garden ...

PAI DISTRICT - PART 5 - HALF DAY TOUR

LONG NECK KAREN IN PAI

After checking out from our hotel, we drive our way to the nearest village (around 15 minutes drive). Here you can see one of Thai's southern native tribe, call the Long Neck Karen. Their trademark is, well, having a "long" neck, and a steel gold ring.

Coffee Bar

Entry fee to this place is BHT100. There is another long neck tribe in Pai where you can go and have a visit. But this will take you around 2 hours driving. Since time is against us, so we choose this one instead of that ( maybe next time I guess )

PAI TREE HOUSE

Our next stop, is Pai Tree House. A lot of nice houses here ( well, some of them are on top of the tree ). You can rent and spend the night here if you wanted to. The entry fee is FREE.

This place is quite big to explore, so, be prepare. Not much of an activity here, besides enjoying the nice surrounding and scenery.

Ok, to our next stop then ...
