Haji Ismail Group, or HIG, started as a grocery and wholesale business, established in 2005, after taking over the original Haji Ismail Group which was founded in 1987. Today the company operates from 5 different outlets. 4 of which in Kuah Town and 1 is operating inside the Jetty Point Complex.
HIG Mall is well known for its duty free chocolates, and other items as well. Walking into the mall you can see various items such as chocolates, kitchen wares, luggage bags, Batik and Pelikat. The mall opened as early as 8.00am in the morning and closed at 10.00pm.
