Who might know that in the busy heart of Puchong lies a small reserved forest where you can go and hike ? Yes, it is. It's call Bukit Wawasan. Located in Puchong ( look for Taman Wawasan or Bukit Wawasan ), this place is quite suitable for those who is not looking for hard track where else just enough for you to enjoy and relax your hike.
There are two main objectives to come here. One is, to hike and reach the peak. Others, is, going to the waterfall. Yes, there is a waterfall. And you can swim if there is less people around.
Three tracks you can choose, either Track A, B, or C. All this will lead to the peak. Only track C (if i'm not mistaken) somewhere around the line, is a small cut-out track which will lead you to the waterfall. You can see the marker on the tree with blue paint. Just follow this marker and it will bring you straight to the waterfall.
You will have to climb up and down, up and down, 3 times, until you finally reach the landing area, a small space where you can rest, or even picnic. The duration from the parking to here is around one and a half hour. The water here is nice and clean.
Ask for people there if you not sure with the direction. They are willing to help and give you directions.
Have a safe trip, and enjoy the hike !
