The main attraction people come here to Sapa is normaly because of Fansipan Mountain. Other than that, people can enjoy the rural environment, like the village, scenery, people and ethic groups, and also, cold weather ( certain season will allow for this, like for my case, it happens on February, and I can see the snow ).
We stay at this hostel, called Fansipan Terrace Cafe and Home Stay. It looks like a full typical cafe from the road side. But, what you don't see is there is a places to stay below. This place offers rooms and bunk beds. Their hostel starts from USD7 per night, including breakfast.
It's located quite near to the town, around 15 minutes walk. And close to Sapa Express main office, incase if you looking for a sleeper bus to leave Sapa.
The view is nice, overlooking the mountain. You can see this whether you are in the room, or, at the cafe. The toilet is nice and clean, and the staff is quite friendly too.
